Season 15 Episode 3 - Nature's Bounty at an Okayama Community Garden
The setting is a huge citizen's farm in Okayama City. On a vast site the size of 1.5 Tokyo Domes, 540 plots of farmland are available for rent. Some of them charge as little as 1,800 yen per month. Farm equipment is also available for rent, and some farmland comes with a shed. Here, one can meet people from all walks of life. A family digs potatoes with their children and makes potato butter right next to the field. Others have found enjoyment in watching the life of vegetables as they wither and die.
