The setting is the sea taxi that travels between the islands of Kagoshima and the Amami archipelago. It serves as a means of transportation for the islanders' daily commutes and shopping, and has also been a part of important milestones in their lives. A woman boards the boat to buy daily necessities in bulk. A parent and child who fell in love with the island and moved here from Tokyo.
