The Internet Is Coming

The reputation of Reynholm Industries is put at risk after an incident involving spilt coffee and a homeless person ends up being posted on the Internet. When Douglas shares the secret of his confidence, a newly transformed Moss comes up with a plan to help Jen and Roy but everything seems too good to be true.

Hello Friend, sometimes written as Hello, Friend, is a short comedy horror film directed by Graham Linehan and written by Linehan and Robert Popper. The film was Linehan's directorial debut. The film stars Martin Savage as a man, John Ward, but credited as the "Subject", who buys some new internet software for his computer, which begins to take over his life. The film was produced by The Film Council, Film4 Productions, and Shine Limited. Included as a bonus feature on the Season 1 DVD.

Season 1
In season one, Roy and Moss toil in the squalid basement of a huge company, fielding IT help-desk calls. Roy has a lousy attitude coupled with an eye for the ladies, while Moss is dressed by his mother and has an aerosol can of water clipped to his belt with which to spray his ear when it gets hot. Into their life of users, pizza, science fiction and firewalls comes middle manager Jen, a punky can-do career gal who doesn't know one end of laptop from the other.
