Grand National fever hits the airport as hundreds of excited race-goers pass through for the annual steeplechase. A skateboarding crew from Herefordshire are en route to Barcelona, but when it turns out some of them have a fear of flying, it seems they might not get very far, while a woman who has lost more than eight stone fuels up at the airport restaurants and bars before flying out to Palma for the sporting challenge of a lifetime. The fire crews join other emergency personnel from Merseyside for a training exercise, and the opening of an airport gym sparks rivalry between staff
