Susan starts her tour with a visit to the lord mayor, who sends her off with a list of things to see and do. She takes part in a synchronised swimming performance at Britain's last surviving circus building, takes a ride on a 1930s rollercoaster, and learns the secret of putting words into a stick of rock.
