Only thing he came under the assumption that they told her that he was and when they meet, Judge Wilbur's not happy to see him. They (Joey, Michael, and Nicole) learn that he's her ex-husband. It seems that years ago she thought her career was more important, so they went their separate ways. They arrange for her and Louis to be alone together, and they make peace.
