Seasons
Series 1 showcases the daily life of Dorothy both in and around her house. In addition to recurring Wiggles friends Wags the Dog, Henry the Octopus and Captain Feathersword often popping by for a visit, we meet Fairy Clare and Fairy Larissa, as well as little Fairy Lucia and baby Fairy Maria. Music in Dorothy’s garden is provided by her own Rosy Orchestra. One song is performed in each episode.

Dorothy remembers where she has hidden the present and gives Captain Feathersword a compass to help him find his way.

After Dorothy and the Captain drink their tea in the garden, Dominic and the Rosy Orchestra play and the Captain sings the song while Dorothy does the actions. You can do it too!

Wags loves Dorothy's special rose petal dog biscuits. Join Dorothy and Wags in the garden as Wags teaches her a Dutch song about a dog and a cat and Dominic and the Rosy Orchestra play Poesje Mauw.
Series 2 contains many episodes with a similar formula to Series 1, while others involve Dorothy and a friend leaving her home to perform a task, where they meet a guest star with whom they sing a song. Guests include Leo Sayer as a doctor, Troy Cassar-Daley as a librarian, and Don Spencer as a postman.
E1Vegetable Soup!

Dorothy the Dinosaur and Henry the Octopus visit John the Green Grocer. They find cheese and crackers and are introduced to the vegetable section. John makes everything sound so exciting and delicious that he even wants to sing about vegetables. First Dorothy gets zucchinis, tomatoes, onions, and some garlic and then sings and dances to Vegetable Soup.

Dorothy the Dinosaur and Wags the Dog visit the library where they meet Troy the singing librarian (multi-award winning Country Music singer, Troy Cassar-Daley), who helps them select books to read. Dorothy and Wags are ready to leave the library with their books but it is raining. Troy suggests that they sing and dance to the song I Love It When It Rains.
E3Captain Feathersword's Singing Lesson

Captain Feathersword joins Dorothy the Dinosaur when she does her singing lesson with her teacher David (opera singer David Hobson). David teaches them how to breathe like a singer and they practice arpeggios. He teaches Dorothy a song all about the names of ballet steps and they sing and dance to Ballerina, Ballerina.
E4Dorothy Visits Doctor Leo

Dorothy the Dinosaur goes for her yearly check-up to the doctor. Doctor Leo (pop music legend Leo Sayer) asks Dorothy to read the eye chart to test her eyes. He uses a stethoscope to listen to her heart and hears the blood pumping around her body. Then he asks Dorothy to stretch up and down and confirms that Dorothy is a very healthy dinosaur indeed! They sing and dance to the song At The Doctors.
E5Don the Postman

Don the Postman delivers the mail to Dorothy's house in Rosy Street. Dorothy invites Don inside for a pot of rosy tea and crumpets with rose petal jam! She then invites him out into her garden where he admires her beautiful roses. The Rosy Orchestra appears and Don sings his signature tune I'm The Postman.

Dorothy the Dinosaur is very excited as her friends, Fairy Clare, Fairy Larissa, Fairy Lucia and little baby Fairy Maria are coming to visit. Dorothy notices that both Fairy Clare and Fairy Larissa are looking a little bit different, because they are wearing their beautiful/sparkly/glittery shiny dresses with intricate coloured pattern designs. Fairy Clare tells Dorothy that these are their Irish Dancing Fairy Dresses. After a pot of rosy tea they adjourn to the garden for some beautiful fairy dancing!
E7Captain Feathersword Goes to the Dentist

Dorothy the Dinosaur accompanies her friend Captain Feathersword as he goes for his regular check-up with Jane the Dentist. Jane puts on her gloves and uses her tiny dental mirror to check the Captain's teeth. He is a good pirate and gets a glowing report about his teeth. Dentist Jane, the Captain and Dorothy then sing Open Wide Look Inside At The Dentist.

Dorothy the Dinosaur and Fairy Clare visit Francis the Flower Seller who tells them that he has something special to show them. They close their eyes and when they open them there are four large flowers that have come to life. They join Francis and sing and dance to The Dancing Flowers.

E11Miss Rachael's Dancing Lesson

Miss Rachael teaches dancing and so Dorothy the Dinosaur joins Fairy Larissa and Fairy Clare for a dancing lesson. Miss Rachael shows the steps to a new dance from Italy. The song is called Balla, Balla Bambina and they all sing and dance together.

Dorothy the Dinosaur welcomes a special guest to her home, her name is Gotha, and she is an elder from the Warramiri people. Gotha brings Dorothy some flowers from the north of Australia and teaches Dorothy some words in the Warramiri language. They sing and dance together to the song Ngalmam Djangu Godku Yumarrku.

Wags the Dog had not got a proper sleep the night before his visit to Dorothy the Dinosaur. Wags was very tired and so Dorothy made a comfortable chair for him to rest in, while the Rosy Orchestra played a lullaby, The Dreaming Song. Wags woke up after his rest and was full of energy again.
E26George and His Bouzouki

Henry the Octopus visits Dorothy the Dinosaur wearing blue and white ribbons, as he's just returned from Greece. After a cup of rosy tea, they journey into the garden to see the Rosy Orchestra. Dominic explains the differences between playing the various instruments and notes that the bouzouki is from Greece. They sing and dance to a Greek song, Aspri Mera Ke Yia Mas.
Series 3, containing twice the amount of episodes as the previous series, takes quite a departure from the previous two. Although episodes feature many similar plots, as Dorothy is visited by her friends or goes with one to another location, the presentation is very different. Episodes are now narrated by Kendall Goddard, with no songs or dialogue from any of the characters, other than a brief song of Dorothy calling a friend each episode. Dorothy now has a car and plane she uses to get to new locations, which are usually other countries such as France and Italy. Emma Pask takes over as voice of Dorothy, while Brad Carroll now portrays Captain Feathersword. The Fairies are now joined by young Elf Antonio, played by Anthony's son and Lucia and Maria’s younger brother Antonio Field.
