Season 14 Episode 3 - At a Small Okonomiyaki Restaurant in Kobe
Pork and egg okonomiyaki: 430 yen. Beef yakisoba 450 yen. The setting is a small okonomiyaki shop in a shopping street in Kobe. It is well-liked by locals from children to the elderly. People come to eat with friends or buy okonomiyaki for their families. Many people also come to enjoy conversation with the store staff. Nagata Ward was severely damaged in the Great Hanshin-Awaji Earthquake. This store also collapsed, but was quick to reopen. For three days, we set up our camera here to look at the current state of the community, which has been recovering from the disaster.
