Season 13 Episode 17 - At the seaside station where a handkerchief flutters
Many yellow handkerchiefs fluttering in the sea breeze. The setting is a small station on a local train line running through the Shimabara Peninsula in Nagasaki. Behind the platform is the Ariake Sea. Although the station is unmanned, people are constantly visiting, writing their wishes on handkerchiefs and attaching them to the platform. A couple stopped by during a paired date. A photographer drove from Tokyo to take pictures of this railroad. Locals also hope that life with this station will continue for a long time. Listening to the voices of people coming and going for three days at the seaside station.
