But with her stepson away and apathetic, she is without any other choice but to seek shelter in this institution. Out of pride, Cita initially keeps to herself and avoids other elderly people until her solitude compels her to open herself up. She is soon surprised to find love and joy in the company of her new friends, but because of their age, they no longer have their lives ahead of them, and they must learn the painful process of letting go.
