Distraught over Blake's meteoric rise in pre-election popularity, Alexis gives in to Sean's persuasions, and he flies her off to a remote cabin on the Pacific coast of Mexico. Entranced by his romanticism, Alexis accepts his impromptu offer of marriage. They have the ceremony in the local fishing village.
