Rei is horrified at first, believing that it would destroy Fukiko's pride, but ultimately decides that she has to learn to live without the Sorority in order to be truly strong. Rei, Kaoru, and Nanako begin collecting signatures for the petition. Two-thirds of the student body need to sign it before they can submit it to the school board.
