House Hunters International
Season 27 Episode 10 - Bridging Cultural Divides in Istanbul
Netherland natives Sandra and Erik lived abroad in Asia for 15 years because of Erik's sales job but after having children, they were ready to settle down. When Erik got a new job offer in Istanbul, Turkey, it seemed like the perfect mix of cultures for this well traveled family. Enjoying a new vibrancy in its economy, Istanbul's housing market is on the upswing, creating a more expensive home search for Erik & Sandra. As an interior designer, Sandra is looking to renovate an older home to suit her style and her family's Dutch roots. With their children starting school shortly, Sandra & husband Erik turn to real estate agent Birgit Ingen Housz to quickly quide them to the perfect home.
