Season 63 Episode 10 - Prom 31: National Youth Orchestra
From the Royal Albert Hall, the National Youth Orchestra of Great Britain returns to the Proms under its new principal conductor Vasily Petrenko. The concert opens with Tchaikovsky's famous Piano Concerto No 1 with Stephen Hough as soloist, and after Lutoslawski's showpiece Concerto for Orchestra the programme ends with Respighi's musical depiction of Roman festivals.
