Overview

It's South Africa 1990. Two big events are going to happen: The release of Nelson Mandela and, more importantly, it's Spud Milton's first year at an elite boys just private boarding school. John Milton is a boy by a typical background who wins a scholarship. Inspired by boys with nicknames such as Rambo, Gecko, Rain Man and maddog, Spud has his hands full trying to accommodate to his new home. Spud takes his first tentative steps. (The path it sounds might be a quite long trail ). Spud is a single child. He's murdered with parents out of well beyond the fringe and a senile granny. His daddy turned into a who's paranoid that the family worker is running a shebeen . His mom is a free spirit and a teenager's worst nightmare, whether it's shopping for Spud's underwear in the supermarket
