In this gripping documentary, created with a combination of animation and historical video, an Afghan survivor and his struggle to come to terms with his history is told in a way that is both moving and inspiring. Amin was an unaccompanied minor when he came in Denmark as a refugee from Afghanistan. Today, at the age of 36, he is a successful scholar who is engaged to be married to his long-term partner. An unspoken secret he has been keeping for more than two decades threatens to derail the life he has worked so hard to create for himself.
