Overview
When the fleet puts in at San Francisco, seafarer Bake Baker attempts to rekindle the fire with his old dancing companion, Sherry Martin, while Bake's friend Bilge Smith romances Sherry's sister, Connie. Yet it's not all plain sailing-- Bake has a routine of shedding Sherry's tasks for her as well as, despite Connie's dreams, Bilge is not prepared to settle down.
