After learning Ning Que’s true identity, Mo Shan Shan tries to evade him, but relents when he comes to apologize. There is a mutual attraction between them, so when they discover they have the same mission to retrieve the Heavenly Scroll, they decide to go together. Mo Shan Shan’s view of the barbarians is shattered when they befriend a family that is mercilessly killed by deacons from the Justice Department.
