End of the Wall (2026)

The desert between Sásabe and Nogales. It was there, in 2020, that a wall stretching along the border was erected. Thirty kilometres further on, the wall of rusted steel bars comes to an end, and the border between the US and Mexico is marked only by hills and ravines. Due to extreme droughts and heat, this stretch is one of the most dangerous overland migration routes in the world. On the American side of the border, a group of volunteers is providing aid to thousands of migrants, supplying them with water, food, and medical assistance. Each of them has different motivations, but they are united by one thing: a refusal to stand idly by and look the other way.
