Kang Cheol suggests that the King become bait to catch the water spirit, as it wants the royal blood. Yeo Ri hears the news and rushes to the river where Kang Cheol and the King are waiting for the water spirit to emerge.

Yeo Ri and Kang Cheol grant the water spirit’s wish and bring his remains to his daughter. In return, the water spirit confesses that Aguji was behind the attacks on the Queen.
