The Feds
The Feds is a series of Australian television films starring Robert Taylor, which were first broadcast on the Nine Network 1993-1996. The Feds revolves around the activities of the Australian Federal Police, who protect the national interests from crime in Australia and overseas. Nine telemovies were produced in the series.

THE FEDS is a prestige movie for television inspired by the work of the nation's premier law enforcement body, the Australian Federal Police. The action swings from Australia to Hong Kong and back, in a world where the Triads and L'Honarata co-exist and where governments fall and rise. At the heart of the story are the ordinary people who are cops, or work with cops or happen to be married to cops.
A second package of six telemovies concentrating on the investigations of members of the Australian Federal Police Force and principally Superintendent Dave Griffin. He is assisted by Detective Sergeant Jo Moody, a woman lawyer who has been recruited to the Feds.

A Family Court judge's wife is injured when a bomb explodes outside their home. The Federal Police believe a deranged bomber with a grudge against the court is on the loose and begin their man hunt to find him before he strikes again.

Dave Griffin has a one-night stand with a beautiful young woman who is found brutally murdered the next morning. Homicide detectives believe Superintendent Griffith is the prime suspect and he is suspended from duty despite protesting his innocence. He faces a race against time to find the real killer, not only to clear his name but to save the lives of others on the killer's hit list.

Working under cover for The Feds, Jo's colleague is murdered before she can pass on information about a massive drug shipment arranged by the club's owner. Jo poses as a law student to infiltrate his organisation but soon discovers more than she anticipated. Meanwhile Dave investigates a suspected leak which may threaten Jo's survival.

What nobody anticipates, except for a visiting German policeman is the white extremist bomber who comes on a special mission, targeting the visiting South African president.

The Federal Police reel in shock when their chief, Commander Rainer, is suspended from the force after a series of investigations into fauna smuggling are blown and an undercover officer murdered. It is up to the detectives to investigate their boss and everything points to the fact Bass has turned his back on law enforcement and is selling information to an international bird smuggling ring headed by well known criminal Brian Petrie.

The Organization of Federal Emergency Services is the most advanced and highly-equipped rescue and safety organization in the country. After a joint exercise with The Feds, the head honcho of OFES, Gerry Lehman, disappears, possibly murdered. When an audit reveals a $47 million discrepancy in the OFES accounts, Superintendent Dave Griffin oversees the investigation. Detective Sergeant Jo Moody is the spearhead, out in the field. She already has a bond with Gil McPherson, one of Gerry's young 'gladiators'. Gil hints that Gerry's a spook, tied up with the nation's intelligence services. Enter Hauptkommissar Jurgen Dietermann, who believes Gerry Lehman may be Gerhard Klemberg, wanted in Germany for industrial theft during the 1970s. Though he can't immediately prove the link, he's determined to uncover the truth.
