The vets remove an enormous mass from a dog’s shoulder and a medical mystery is solved after a horse’s GI tract shuts down.

Elsewhere, Dr. Erin removes a possibly cancerous lump from the tip of a feisty cat’s nose, and Dr. Ben examines his favorite horse, Jake, for lameness.

At the clinic, Dr. Erin gets a nasty surprise when she pops a puppy’s mysterious abscess, and Dr. Ben flushes a farm dog’s lacerated paw only to discover a bigger problem. On a house call, the Schroeders treat a llama’s infected toe with old and new school techniques.

Dr. Ben helps a baby boa constrictor shed some skin and brings relief to a bull calf covered in sand burs.

Later, the vets come across a cow showing signs of preterm labor, possibly caused by a transmissible infection or virus that could endanger the herd.
