Sarah is given a drugged drink by a cab driver. She is certain she has been raped. After months of feeling disbelieved by the police her case is dropped. He is free to attack again.

Laila, a student, is drugged and assaulted by Worboys. Despite CCTV, she appears to be dismissed by police and her case is dropped. Eventually, police spot a disturbing pattern.

May 17, 2026
After a police appeal, Worboys is eventually caught and convicted. Carrie waives her anonymity. Sarah and Laila, whose lives have been turned upside down, decide to sue the police.

E4Episode 4
May 18, 2026
Sarah and Laila win their case against the Met. As they rebuild their lives, Worboys is granted parole. Joined by Carrie, they must now campaign to keep him in prison.
