The story follows manga artist Saeki Yusuke, who lost his wife and lives alone in an apartment in Tokyo, as he is invited by his cousin Akutagawa Kisaburo, who is separated from his wife, to live with him in his mansion in Denenchofu, where Akutagawa is being asked to look after the house. This story follows the various turmoil that ensues, as well as a love story between Saeki and Yashima Yuki, the daughter of a wealthy family who moves in as a maid.

The episode sets up the comedic and romantic premise as Yusuke meets Yuki Yashima, a wealthy heiress working as a housekeeper, sparking the beginning of their love story amidst various humorous disturbances in the mansion.
