The Rainbow gang is being very creative indeed and putting together their own version of 'Jack and the Beanstalk'. Jane plays Jack and Bungle the Giant. Zippy is Jack's mother (Mrs Beanstalk). Rod is the evil wizard who sells Jack the beans and Geoffrey and Freddy for some reason are a clown double act called 'Tea and Cocoa'. George wanted to be the cow, but ends up being Georgieporgy when the two clowns take the part of the cow.

Then everyone plays eye spy, but George has disappeared again. George goes back to his secret place and reads a story called 'Ferdy's Secret Place'.

Bungle, Zippy and George watch a TV programme that shows them how to make a milkshake. Afterwards they decide to make some milkshakes themselves and find out all about where milk comes from. Geoffrey visits a farm and sees some cows being milked and how the milk is transported to the dairy for putting into bottles. Bungle, Zippy, George and Geoffrey sing "I Went To Visit A Farm One Day" and then they find out how milk gets put into bottles at the dairy. Rod, Jane and Freddy sing a song about milk bottles on a doorstep called "Take Us In, Warm Us Up". Zippy and George tell a story about King Geoffrey, Milkmaid Bungle and Daisy the Cow.

Bungle wants to draw a picture but can't decide what to draw. He doodles a wiggly line and then turns it into a picture of a worm. George doodles an orange circle and Zippy some green lines on Bungle's picture while he's not around. Rod, Jane and Freddy sing a song about doodling called "Do You Doodle?" Bungle sees his drawing and isn't best pleased that Zippy and George have scribbled on it. Some children doodle and artist Sally Gregory turns their doodles into pictures to tell a story.

Geoffrey, Bungle, Zippy and George are in the garden. To protect himself from the sun, Geoffrey puts on some sun cream, Zippy wears some sunglasses to protect his eyes from the bright sunlight and George has an umbrella to keep the sun off him. Then Bungle puts his rain hat on to keep the sun off his head, but Zippy thinks he looks hilarious wearing a rain hat on a sunny day. Then it starts to rain and everyone goes indoors. They look at a book with lots of pictures of fire fighters and wonder why they wear special clothing such as helmets. Geoffrey explains that it is for protection. Rod, Jane and Freddy sing "Open Up Your Umbrella" and Bernie Clifton tells a story called "Ben The Clumsy Spaceman".

Then Zippy, George, Bungle and Geoffrey go to a concert that some children are performing at the village hall. Rod, Jane and Freddy sing "Everybody's Tongue-Tied Sometimes". Zippy performs "I Had A Little Nut Tree" and everyone enjoys his little poem and Zippy doesn't feel tongue-tied anymore.

Bungle, Zippy and George learn about the wind and how it blows things around. Geoffrey is blowing bubbles and Zippy is blowing his toy trumpet. George has a go with Zippy's toy trumpet but can't play it, as he sucks instead of blowing. Later the gang go into the garden and Bungle and Geoffrey build a big sandcastle in the sandpit. Then Geoffrey and Bungle make some patterns on a piece of paper by blowing straws dipped in paint. Rod, Jane and Freddy sing "We're Working, Yes, We're Working". Zippy, George, Bungle and Geoffrey act out the story of the Three Little Pigs.

Bungle is not very pleased when Geoffrey walks over the floor he's just cleaned in his muddy boots. Rod, Jane and Freddy sing "Hopscotch". Geoffrey does a tap dance in his tap shoes then shows Zippy and George other shoes he has for doing different things. Jane reads the story of "Cinderella". Geoffrey, Zippy and George help by playing characters from the story. Jane is Cinderella, Geoffrey is Prince Charming and Zippy and George are the Ugly Sisters. Then the next door neighbour's dog Benji escapes from his garden and runs inside the Rainbow house leaving muddy paw prints all over Bungle's clean floor which he is not best pleased about.

Geoffrey is trying to speak on the telephone, but is having trouble hearing because Bungle is listening to a story on the radio and Zippy is watching his favourite programme on the television. He gets them to turn the radio and TV off and discovers that Bungle forgot to pass on a message that was left for him. Later, George and Bungle make party invitations and George asks Bungle to pass all the crayons. But Bungle mishears and thinks he asked him to parcel up all the crayons. Zippy is sad when Bungle tells him he's not invited to the party. But then Bungle says he was only joking which cheers Zippy up again. Rod, Jane and Freddy sing "If You Ever Want To Play A Game". Bungle does a mime, pretending to be a policeman directing traffic. Geoffrey reads a story called "Charlie's News". Bungle, Zippy and George have a treasure hunt in the garden.

Rod, Jane and Freddy sing "Be Sensible" and Sue Holderness reads a story called "Will and The Wishing Stone".

Then Bungle finds an old scarf which belongs to Zippy, but Zippy won't let him have it for the jumble as it's his favourite. Meanwhile George is watching TV. First he watches the lines and shapes, then he watches Rod, Jane and Freddy sing a song called "Your Favourite Things". Bungle, Zippy and George talk about their favourite things, then Bungle daydreams that he's a magician. Geoffrey tells a story called 'Dolly Doodles Favourite Things'.

Freddy reads the story of "Hardworking Horace". Rod, Jane and Freddy give Geoffrey a helping hand to make the table and sing "When There's Work To Be Done".

Rod, Jane and Freddy sing "Mr Bodger" with the help of Geoffrey dressed up as Mr Bodger. Then magician Clive Webb does some magic tricks but all his tricks go wrong.

George is building a tower with his building blocks and Bungle is doing a drawing. But Bungle wants the table all to himself and he and George start squabbling when Bungle knocks the tower over and George spoils Bungle's drawing. Then they go into the garden where they meet Georgette, the pink female hippo from next door, who helps Bungle and George sort out their squabble and make up. But Zippy is not best pleased that Bungle and George have a new friend, and he falls out with them all. Geoffrey reads a "Tat The Cat" story about falling out and making up. After falling out with Bungle, George and Georgette, Zippy goes into the garden, where he sees Rod, Jane and Freddy. The trio sing "You've Got To Make It Up" and then Zippy says sorry and makes it up with everyone.

Geoffrey, Zippy, George and Bungle sing "Five Current Buns In A Baker's Shop". Geoffrey tells everyone he'll be baking some jam tarts for tea which makes Zippy hungry. George says the nursery rhyme "The Queen of Tarts" and everyone dresses up like in the nursery rhymes. Geoffrey dresses up as the King of hearts, Bungle dresses up as the Queen of hearts, Zippy dresses up as the knave of hearts and George decides to be his brother the prince. Geoffrey makes a crown out of card. Rod, Jane and Freddy each dress up as different characters from Nursery Rhymes. Freddy sings "Little Jack Horner", Rod sings "Hot Cross Buns" and Jane sings "Polly Put the Kettle On". Rod, Jane and Freddy then sing some nursery rhymes such as "Little Miss Muffet". "Little Tommy Tucker", and "Sing A Song Of Sixpence". Geoffrey serves the jam tarts he's made, but Zippy doesn't want to wait for them to go cool and dreams about being the knave of hearts. He eats all the jam tarts in his dream and ends up feeling ill. Then when he wakes up he only wants to eat just one jam tart, which surprises everyone.

It's a very special occasion today. Geoffrey is taking Zippy and George to the theatre to see Peter Pan. Bungle has a cold, so he has to stay at home and Jane comes to look after him. Zippy takes George's toy car he's playing with, which makes George angry. Geoffrey keeps the peace between them by suggesting they both play with the toy car, taking turns to push it to each other. Then George builds a bridge for the car to go under, but Zippy won't play properly and keeps knocking the bridge down with the car. So policeman Bungle steps in to keep the peace between Zippy and George. Mrs Jones from next door is very angry with Geoffrey about the broken fence between the houses. But she forgives Geoffrey when Bungle, Zippy and George explain it was them who accidentally made a hole in the fence so they could retrieve their football, and Geoffrey says he'll fix the fence for her. Rod, Jane and Freddy are in the garden. Jane and Freddy are practising their song, but they keep getting it wrong and argue with each other. Rod steps in to keep the peace and then they all sing "It's Time To Sing The Song".

Zippy and George receive some party invitations in the post, but sadly there's not one for Bungle. Bungle, Zippy and George and Geoffrey sort out items they no longer need and put them in a box for their next door neighbour's jumble sale. Bungle builds a tower with building blocks, but Zippy knocks it down. Geoffrey takes the box of jumble next door and notices Bungle's party invitation was delivered there by mistake, so he has an invitation after all! Rod, Jane and Freddy sing "How Many?" Zippy, George, Bungle and Geoffrey sing "How Does A Caterpillar Grow?" Then they all play a game where they have to guess how many stepping stones Bungle needs to cross a pretend river.

Geoffrey receives a phone call telling him that Grandad has had an accident and is in hospital. He tells Bungle, Zippy and George that he will have to go up to the hospital and that he will take them to stay at Auntie's house for the night. Geoffrey takes them to Auntie's in his car. Bungle has some flowers for her and George has made a get well card for Grandad, but Zippy isn't very happy at going to stay with Auntie and would rather stay at home. When they arrive at Auntie's house Zippy is disappointed that he'll have to miss his favourite cartoon as she doesn't own a TV set. Also he doesn't like the sausages she's cooked them for their tea. After tea, Auntie asks Bungle, Zippy and George to help her with the washing up, but they aren't very happy at this. Auntie tells them they shouldn't be so lazy and selfish and that families should help each other. Then Rod, Jane and Freddy visit and sing "They're Your Family". Later, Auntie lets them play with an old train set that used to be Geoffrey's when he was a little boy. This cheers Zippy up and when Geoffrey telephones to see how they're all getting on Zippy tells him he's having a wonderful time!

However it's not as easy as it seems. Rod, Jane and Freddy rehearse their song "Heartbeat" in a recording studio and then they come to help Zippy, George and Bungle out.

Geoffrey tells Bungle not to touch the dominos he's lined up on the table while he goes out of the room, but Bungle wonders what will happen if he touches them and then finds out. George wonders what will happen if he tips out his container of marbles. The marbles all roll off the table onto the floor, but before he can pick them all up Rod and Freddy come into the room and fall over on them. Then Geoffrey and George notice an unpleasant smell which seems to be coming from Zippy. They discover it's because Zippy hasn't changed his socks for days, as they're his favourite yellow pair. Geoffrey explains that if you don't wash your clothes they become dirty and smelly. Rod, Jane and Freddy sing "Blowing Up Balloons" and Geoffrey shows Bungle, Zippy and George a little magic trick.

Geoffrey shows Zippy a jar full of tadpoles and explains how tadpoles grow into frogs as they get older. Rod, Jane and Freddy sing a song about Mr Frog and the Princess Jane. Zippy tries to count how many tadpoles there are in the jar, but keeps losing count. Geoffrey reads the story of "Tiny the Tadpole". Later, outside in the garden, Jane and Geoffrey sing a song about three little speckled frogs and Bungle, Zippy and George pretend to be the frogs in the song.

Geoffrey, Rod and Freddy arrive back after the charity race and everyone has some carrot cake to eat.

Then Bobby Davro comes round to the Rainbow house and does some funny impressions of Zippy, Bungle, George and Geoffrey.

Geoffrey finds Bungle has left his toy cars on the floor and a pot of water on the edge of the table and tells him he should watch out where he leaves things in case it causes an accident. Then Bungle goes to stand on a chair to try to hang his painting on the wall, but Geoffrey tells him it's dangerous to stand on chairs in case he falls off. Meanwhile George is outside playing in the garden, but Geoffrey doesn't know where he is and thinks that George has gone out on his own. Then they all decide to go for a picnic, so go into the kitchen and Bungle helps Geoffrey make the sandwiches, but he makes a mess with the butter and drops some on the floor. Geoffrey tells him to clean it up in case someone slips on it, but Bungle is careless and bumps Zippy's head with the mop. Rod, Jane and Freddy sing "Watch Out".

The gang are holding a car boot sale in their garden. Bungle makes a poster to let people know about the sale, while Zippy makes a model snowman to sell, but he is having difficulty making a head for it and asks Geoffrey to help him to finish making it. Meanwhile, George is collecting things together to sell at the sale, but he thinks a car boot sale is a sale just for cars and boots, so takes Zippy's toy cars, Geoffrey's Wellington boots and Jane's fashion boots. Rod and Freddy have been sorting out items to sell and arrive with a wheelbarrow full of things. Rod finds an old banjo and gives it to Jane to put into the sale, but Freddy stops them, telling them it was his Grandad's and is very sentimental to him. Freddy sings a song his Grandad used to sing to him when he was small called "I Used To Play My Old Banjo". George decides to give his old Wellington boots that no longer fit him to the sale and has painted them in all the colours of the rainbow. It's almost time for the sale to begin, and Zippy makes fun of Bungle because he thinks he hasn't made anything for the sale. But Bungle has the last laugh when he tells him he has made a game where you have to throw a ball to try to knock the cardboard Zippy over that he's made to win a lollipop. Jane opens the sale and everyone has a good time browsing the items for sale and playing Bungle's game.

While sailing on the sea, their ship hits some rocks during a storm and their boat is shipwrecked. Rod, Jane and Freddy sing "Deep Blue Sea" and then come to rescue the others in their ship.

Bungle, Zippy and George find out about gadgets and how they can help make jobs and tasks easier. Geoffrey demonstrates how his potato peeler helps him peel potatoes more easily. Rod, Jane and Freddy sing a song about a musical gadget they've built, called their "Superdooperbodypooperlittlebigalonianboogiewoogieplayitagain". Geoffrey reads the story of Professor Slop then makes some chips using a new gadget he's just got. But it's the wrong gadget for making chips and the potatoes come out looking more like crisps. Then he uses an electric whisk to make a milkshake, but when Bungle adds more milk into the jug, the mixture splashes everywhere, so Geoffrey decides they will all go out to buy some chips.

Bungle wants Geoffrey to buy him a jigsaw puzzle he's seen, but doesn't have enough money of his own. Zippy and George borrow Bungle's crayons and drawing book but end up breaking the crayons and wasting all the paper. Bungle gets upset, so George and Zippy agree to let Bungle borrow some of their money so that Geoffrey can buy the jigsaw for him. Rod looks after Bungle, Zippy and George while Geoffrey goes to the shop to buy Bungle the jigsaw and while he's out, Mrs Smith borrows some milk. Rod Jane and Freddy sing "We'd Like To Borrow". Mrs Smith returns with some milk and sugar to replace the milk and sugar she borrowed earlier.

John tells the story of 'The Great Marzipan', a magician who is always forgetting things. Rod, Jane and Freddy sing "Happy Christmas". They visit the rainbow house. George uses a magic wand to make a fairy appear at the top of the Christmas tree. Zippy uses the magic wand, but accidentally magics himself into a fairy costume. Everyone sings "Christmas Is Coming".

Geoffrey trips over one of Bungle toys and hurts his ankle. Jane offers to do his shopping and goes to practise her song with Rod and Freddy. Rod, Jane and Freddy sing "We're Singing Our Little Song", but Geoffrey keeps interrupting them.

Jane sings "Whispers". Zippy thinks Geoffrey's forgotten the snake, so Freddy goes off to find one. Then everyone surprises Bungle and he's happy they didn't forget his Birthday. Freddy gives Bungle a toy snake, but Zippy got mixed up and it was the cake Geoffrey forgot, however Jane's made Bungle a lovely cake and they all have a wonderful time.

Then the gang decide it wasn't such a good idea to put their furniture outside after all and move it back indoors. Geoffrey, Rod, Jane and Freddy manage to catch their runaway table, and then the trio sing "Sardines in a Tin".

Geoffrey is going to make an enormous jelly for tea and leaves Bungle, Zippy and George to watch the TV while he's in the kitchen. But while Geoffrey's gone the TV picture goes off so there's just a lot of wobbly lines. Then to the surprise of Bungle, Zippy and George, a man called Wilbur Wobble, who looks rather like Geoffrey, appears on the TV welcoming viewers to Wibbly Wobbly Television and then reads the Wobbly News. This is followed by The Fluffy Frothy Show presented by a character called Tony Tremble who looks just like Bungle! Tony Tremble introduces Jilly Jelly and the Blamanges (Rod, Jane and Freddy) who sing The Woblies Song. Then Wilbur Wobble is back and reads the story of Wobert's Wonderful Wobbles to two little friends of his, Blibby and Blobby who look just like Zippy and George. After the story has ended, Geoffrey comes in with the enormous jelly he's made for tea and they all tell him about Wibbly Wobbly Television and all the funny characters they've seen, but he doesn't believe them and thinks they imagined it.

Jane has trouble with her umbrella when the wind blows it inside out and George is wearing his hat back to front. Geoffrey opens the storybook to read a story but the pages appear to be upside down and back to front. He realises someone has put the book cover on wrongly and then tells a Tat The Cat story. Rod, Jane and Freddy sing "Inside Out", Upside Down, Back to Front". Bungle notices a fly walking upside down on the ceiling and wishes he could do the same.

Geoffrey, Bungle, Zippy and George talk about the shapes different fruits are. Geoffrey shows them a lemon and Bungle jokes that Zippy looks like one. John Styles tells his "Shapes Story". They all think of different ways of how Geoffrey can reach up high enough to pick the apples. But Geoffrey shows Bungle that by mixing yellow paint and blue paint he can make green paint. John Styles tells the story of "Mr and Mrs Marzipan's Problem". Bungle can't get his painting to stand up on display, but Zippy comes up with an idea to help him. Freddy sings a musical story about "The Enormous Turnip" and the others play the parts of the characters in the song.

Rod, Jane and Freddy sing "We're In Outer Space". Geoffrey tries to contact Zippy and George at the Rainbow Space command centre, but there's no reply. Rod, Jane and Freddy help them and in the end they manage to get to the Rainbow Space Centre.

Everything seems to be going wrong in the Rainbow house. First of all, Geoffrey oversleeps and is late getting up. Then he discovers there's no cereal left for their breakfast, so he makes some toast instead, but ends up burning it. After breakfast, Bungle helps Geoffrey to clear away the breakfast things but drops them as he carries them into the kitchen. Later, Bungle does a painting, but spoils it by accidentally dripping some yellow paint onto it. Geoffrey thinks that auntie is visiting them, but he gets the days mixed up and discovers she's not visiting until the next day. Rod, Jane and Freddy sing "Just One of Those Days".

Zippy,George and Bungle want to play outside in the snow, but Geoffrey suggests that they could pretend to go out on a expedition, so they all get everything they need to go exploring in the snow. George can see polar bears, rabbits, seals and whales through his telescope. Zippy, George and Geoffrey are hungry so Bungle shows them the food he's bought, but he's brought all cold food and they want hot food to warm themseleves up. Zippy plays some music so they all start dancing to keep warm. Rod, Jane and Freddy sing "Ice Cold Weather". George can see footprints through his telescope and then he sees Rod, Jane and Freddy. They come over to meet Zippy, George, Bungle and Geoffrey and share their hot food with them. Geoffrey takes a photo of everyone and then it starts snowing so they all go home. Bungle leaves some ice hes brought back on the desk, but later on it melts and he thinks someones taken it and isn't happy that there's nothing to remember their trip by, but Geoffrey shows him the photo he took earlier of them all.

Bungle and Geoffrey measure the garden whilst Zippy and George design a plan. Zippy and George show Geoffrey their plan for the garden, but they've put everyone in the same part of the garden. Auntie comes round and reads everyone a story called 'Thomas The Gardener'. Then everyone has their own piece of garden and Bungle brings a donkey into the garden so children can ride him.

Geoffrey's late coming home from his holiday so whilst their waiting Zippy, George, Bungle and Dawn sing "Ride A Cock Horse". Zippy wants to pretend their going somewhere and George suggest the sea so everyone pretends to be going there by coach with Geoffrey as the driver. Then everyone pretends to be traveling by train, but Zippy doesn't know what way he wants to travel. Bungles pretends to travel in different ways such as riding a horse, a motorbike and a boat. Then everyone sings "Down By The Station".

Zippy, George and Bungle are a bit grumpy today. George knocks down Zippy's house of cards and Zippy messes up George's paper hat. Geoffrey reads a story called 'Zoe's Zoo'. Geoffrey accidently knocks down Zippy's house of cards, Zippy accidently throws a glass of water at Geoffrey and ruins his shirt and Geoffrey accidently squashes Bungle's model flat. Christopher comes in and Bungle accidently gets paint on Christopher's face. Christopher sings "Why Did You Do That? and cheers everyone up.

Zippy, George and Bungle don't feel like getting up, but go to eat breakfast. Geoffrey receives a parcel in the post and it's a cuckoo clock. He shows Zippy, George, Bungle how the cuckoo clock works and they also look at other clocks to see how they work, but then all the clocks go off together.

Zippy decides he doesn't want any old books anymore and only likes new things. Geoffrey finds an old toy theatre and John comes round and tells everyone about it. Zippy dreams about being in the theatre. John performs a puppet play for everyone. Then Zippy realizes old things can just be as good as new things.

Zippy, George and Bungle are making lots of noise so Geoffrey tells them all to be quiet. Zippy dreams about the phone, clock and Rainbow storybook coming to life. Geoffrey reads a story called 'Ichabod and the Birthday Cake' and then tells Zippy, George and Bungle about the play he's going to see called The School for Scandal. Zippy, George, Bungle and Geoffrey act out a play with Geoffrey as Sir Geoffrey Laugh-A-Lot, Bungle as Mr Fibber, George as Lady Chitter Chatter and Zippy as her husband.

Bungle is doing lots of running in the garden as he wants to get fit, but Zippy and George are eating biscuits. Bungle ends up overdoing his running and gets very tired. Then everyone has lunch but Bungle only has a few peas on his plate and thinks he needs to go on a diet. Geoffrey convinces him to eat more food and wants Zippy and George not to eat too many sugary foods. ippy and George feel sick as they've eaten too much and Bungle's hungry. Bungle then does some more exercise, but struggles weightlifting. Geoffrey does some exercises such as weightlifting and press ups but struggles doing them. Bungle and Geoffrey play ball which makes Zippy and George tired. Then they have to join in their exercises.

Geoffrey's going to write some letters, but can't find his pen. Zippy thinks he could be a good detective and George helps him look for the missing pen. They dress in different disguises and try to solve the case of the missing pen, starting by looking in the bedroom. Zippy and George want to borrow Geoffrey's magnifying glass to find the clues to solve the mystery of the missing pen. Zippy thinks Geoffrey took the pen so they look downstairs for it and they find it under the storybook. Geoffrey reads a story called 'Mr Snoozer's Parrot' Geoffrey's going to write his letters, but can't find his writing pad so it looks like another case for Detective Zippy, until Bungle finds it!

It's raining and Zippy, George and Bungle are singing songs about the rain. Geoffrey talks about rain and how you must not waste water. Zippy, George and Bungle put objects into a tray of water and Bungle's rubber duck and Geoffrey's boat float, but George's lump of plasticine sinks. Then Zippy asks Geoffrey to make a man for the boat, but it sinks. Geoffrey reads a story called 'Bessie Bundle's Sinking Feeling'.

Everyone sings "Shapes Around". Zippy and George have to guess what objects wrapped up in fabric. Bungle shows everyone what's he's made from drawing around everyone's hands.

It's a hot day and Zippy and George wish that they could be on holiday so everyone pretends that they're going on a trip to Spain. Geoffrey pretends to sell ice cream and then everyone goes to a restaurant where Dawn is the waitress. George, Zippy and Bungle learn some Spanish words and everyone sings "Viva La Espana".

Geoffrey, Zippy, George and Bungle have just got back from the zoo and Zippy wants a real elephant for a pet. Geoffrey goes to the pet shop and buys a guinea pig which Zippy calls Gilbert. Zippy wants to look after Gilbert for the first week and take good care of him. George gives Zippy some carrots to give to Gilbert and Bungles collected some newspapers for the hutch, but Zippy's more interested in playing with his toy car. Zippy cant be bothered to clean out Gilbert's hutch or give him any food or change his water, so Geoffrey decides to teaches him a lesson. Geoffrey gives everyone lunch apart from Zippy, so when Zippy asks why Geoffrey says he's been far too busy watching TV. Zippy then gets mad and goes to his room to read his comics, but then complains about how messy it is. Geoffrey then tells Zippy off for not looking after Gilbert, so Zippy goes to clean his hutch and takes him some food. Geoffrey reads a story called 'Alby All Alone'.
E3Getting in a Muddle

Geoffrey's talking to Dawn's sister Annette on the phone about finding things for the jumble sale, but a kite has got stuck up in a tree and Zippy ends up getting tangled up when he climbs up to get it. Bungle can't unravel it, but George manages to. Geoffrey's sorting out clothes for the jumble sale, but Bungle mishears him and thinks Geoffrey's taking them to the jungle and taking a net. Zippy thinks he's going to give all the old clothes to the animals and Bungle goes to put them all in a suitcase. Everyone's just about to leave to go to the jumble sale when Annette rings Geoffrey and he tells her the lovely things he's found for the jumble sale, lots of bits of old newspaper, bits of straw and some chewed carrot, but that's not right so he speaks with Zippy, George and Bungle. Bungle then realizes they're going to the jumble and not the jungle and Dawn's sister Annette is coming and not a net. Geoffrey reads a story called 'Monty's Muddled Monday'. Then he tells Zippy, Bungle and George that they're going to see Aunty Jean tomorrow, but Bungle thinks they're going to sea in a submarine.

Everyone's come back from the seaside and Bungle suggests that they should all put on their own seaside show. Dawn plays the music, Zippy and George do a balancing act, Bungle does a song and dance and Geoffrey performs some magic tricks.

Geoffrey, George and Bungle are getting ready for a boat trip across the river, but Zippy's not very well and has lost his voice, so they all decide to go on a pretend boat trip instead. Zippy pretends to be the captain of the boat, but as he can't speak Geoffrey gives the orders for him. Bungle pretends to swim in the water and then they get shipwrecked on a desert island. Everyone has a picnic and then Geoffrey reads a story called 'Chirp Finds His Voice'. Geoffrey gives Zippy some medicine and then he falls asleep.

Geoffrey reads a story called 'Fetch A Pail Of Water'. Geoffrey, Zippy, George and Bungle make a first aid box. Geoffrey's finished mending the swing, so he asks if Bungle wants to go on it, but Bungle plays a trick on Geoffrey.

Zippy, George and Geoffrey can hear Bungle making noise upstairs, but Bungle won't tell them what's going on. However he tells Zippy and George that he's tidying up their bedroom as a surprise for Geoffrey, but Zippy accidentally lets it slip, so Geoffrey pretends he doesn't know a thing. Geoffrey decides that he, Zippy and Bungle should make a surprise for Bungle, but George has to make sure Zippy doesn't let their secret slip. Bungle shows Geoffrey the new room and he's very impressed, but then Bungle finds out he knew already what was happening. Bungle loves the mobiles Geoffrey, Zippy and George made for the room. Geoffrey reads a story called 'A Big Surprise For Bertie'. Then Zippy gets a surprise as Geoffrey and George made him a model house and he loves it.

Zippy's being unusually helpful today and offers to help George find some leaves, do the washing up for Geoffrey and help tidy the loft for Bungle. Geoffrey reds Bungle a story called 'Tat The Cat Helping Out'. Geoffrey then finds out Zippy only said he'd help out so he could win a big picnic hamper in the local newspaper's competition.

Geoffrey and Bungle take turns dancing with Dawn, while Zippy wantt to play a trick on Geoffrey using his toy spider, but things don't turn out as he expects. There's one chocolate cake left, so Geoffrey cuts it in to four pieces for Zippy, George, Bungle and himself. Geoffrey reads a story called 'Helping Humpty and then everyone sings "London's Burning".

Zippy ends up eating all the biscuits and needs to lie down and dreams about a Zippybread Man. The story of the Gingerbread Boy comes to life. Can the fox catch him? Geoffrey plays a little old man and Dawn plays his wife, George plays a cow and Bungle plays a fox who wants to eat the little Zippybread man.

Auntie Patsy comes to visit quite unexpectedly, but Bungle, Zippy and George are not very happy when she has to have their bedroom for the night. Auntie gives Bungle, George and Zippy some gifts, but they are very disappointed with the things she has bought them. Geoffrey reads the story "A Very Special Visitor". Later, before bedtime, Bungle, Zippy and George get some pillows from the bedroom and notice Auntie's vanishing cream and they think it is for making her invisible. That night they become curious to know if Auntie has vanished, so Bungle, Zippy and George creep into the room where Auntie is sleeping to check whether she is still there or not. They wake Auntie up, but luckily she finds it funny when they explain about them thinking the vanishing cream was to make her invisible.
