Overview
The Federal Justice Department attempts to preserve political face by taking control of the Tribal Police Force that controls the four Indian Reserves that surround the city. Interim Tribal Chief Samantha Woodburn must overcome political obstacles and prove herself among the Metro Police's old-white-boys club. She must manage politics, protocol, and her new colleague, Chuck "Buke" Bukansky, a seasoned but broken-down Metro Police detective. Mistaken identity, pipeline dispute, healing lodge justice, social services, tobacco, and missing Indigenous Peoples are all examined in "Tribal."
