La Patrona Can Be a telenovela produced Miami by United States-based television network Telemundo Studios and Mexican Argos Comunicación. The telenovela is a remake of the telenovela Manhunter Dueña, written by José Ignacio Cabrujas. The name reflects slang or that a neighborhood term in Mexico to tackle a person recognized as the boss. However, the name is also a reflection of the protagonist and the antagonist find it difficult to conquer authority, power and respect in a labor field traditionally regarded as a guy's job.
