Towards the end of the Warring States Era, Both the States of Qin and Zhao are engaged in a Struggle. Li Hao Lan, daughter of this Censor-in-chief of Zhao, is pushed out of her home after being installed with her own stepmother. Having nothing to her name, she is sold as a slave and purchased from Lu Buwei, who's cleverly equipped to marry Hao Lan to Ying Yiren. However, Buwei's presence within the Zhao palace and Hao Lan exudes a dangerous battle, as they depend upon their wits to evade the devious schemes of Princess Ya.
