Overview

A medieval epic which tells the story of Wilkin Brattle, a 14th century warrior, whose life is forever changed if a celestial messenger beseeches him to lay his sword down and lead the life span of some other person: a journeyman executioner. Place throughout a time rife with rebellion and political upheaval in northern Wales, Wilkin has to walk a tightrope between protecting his individuality while also serving a destiny. Guided by Annora, the appearing of a healer whose keeps Wilkin under her influence. Dominated by Milus Corbett, a devious Chamberlain with political ambitions. And driven by a connection with all the Baroness Lady Love, Wilkin struggles to navigate political, emotional and supernal disadvantages in his search to comprehend his greater purpose.
