Overview
Based on the book by Lily Koppel, this 10 episode limited series tells the story of those have been primary players supporting some of the greatest events in American history. Since America's astronauts were started on assignments, Life Magazine recorded the astronauts' families, capturing the behind-the-scenes lives in these young wives. These girls were shifted into American royalty from military spouses. Tragedy began to touch their lives and as their celebrity rose, they rallied together.
