Texas is a spinoff of Another Universe. It was co-created by Joyce Hooper Corrington, thoughts writers John William Corrington, along with executive producer Paul Rauch of Another Universe. Rauch would hold the title of executive producer before 1981 to get its own spinoff and the parent series.
