Every time a gruesomely staged figure is available, propped up on a mountain pass in the Alps close into the German-Austrian boundary, two detectives have been sent to explore. For detective Elliethis is the very first real challenge of her career. Her counterpart Gedeon appears to get lost any aspirations in his endeavor. Soon, they find more crime scenes with introduced victims that are symbolically, reminiscent of pagan rituals. It appears to be a portion of a sinister plan. Ellie finds herself under increasing pressure so she could stop him to understand the killer motivations. The search leads them deeper in the darkened valleys and Alpine customs that are primitive - and this killer's world.
