Outrageous Fortune is a fresh Zealand comedy-drama television show, which ran July 2005. After the matriarch, Cheryl, chose your family should go directly and follow law the show followed the lives of the career West family. The Main cast for the series's run consisted of Robyn Malcolm, Antony Starr, Siobhan Marshall, Antonia Prebble, Frank Whitten and Kirk Torrance. Grant Bowler appeared throughout the first five seasons of the show in a role that was sporadic. The series premiered on 1-2 and has been welcomed by high acclaim. It won many of the categories from the New Zealand television awards together with Malcolm's performance, for its first 4 years. Observing the success of the show, England and the United States adapted Outrageous Fortune.
