After trading in the apparently charmed life of a gent for one of a swashbuckling buccaneer, Stede Bonnet becomes captain of the pirate ship Revenge. Struggling to gain the regard of his potentially mutinous staff, Stede's fortunes adjustment after a fateful confrontation with the notorious Captain Blackbeard. Stede and crew effort to get their ship with each other and also make it through life on the high seas.
