Ni Hao, Kailan is an American children's television show, that premiered on Nickelodeon on December 15, 2008 on November 5, 2007, also on Noggin. It also premiered Since March 2009 on the Television Channel Tree House TV the show has shown in Israel. Ni Hao, Kai-lan is centered on the childhood memories of this show's founder Karen Chau growing up in a household. "Ni hao" means"Hi" in Mandarin, also Kailan may be that the Chinese name Chau has been given at birth, that was later anglicized into Karen.
