Based in Shinmiyangyo, and also the U.S. trip to Korea from the late 19th century,'' Mr. Sunshine tells the story of a Korean boy turned in to a household of a house servant running-away to board an American warship, later to come back to his home land like a U.S. marine officer. He falls in love with the daughter of an aristocrat also discovers the scheme to purge the nation he once ran off from.
