Using film making methods that are pioneering, he investigates in detail the intricacy of the environments they occupy and build, in a universe hidden from the eye and the complex, sophisticated behaviours of these creatures. Bees communicating with a waggle dancing and assassin bugs which clothe themselves corpses from figurines of killer ants to lions weaving ferocious scorpions together with stings, silken snare doors, beetles shooting chemicals at their enemies. David Attenborough will take viewers to the macroscopic world of bugs.
