1815, france. After having dwelt a nightmare in life for 19 years, jean Valjean, a burglar, is discharged from prison, but a mistake puts the law again on his own route. He is pursued by ruthless Inspector Javert thorough years, driven with means of a twisted sense of justice, even while Valjean reforms himself, thrives and dedicates his life. For the last time, whilst the revolution ravages the streets of Paris, Javert and Valjean cross their paths in 1832.
