Overview

When Rosie Duff, a juvenile barmaid, was stabbed to death in1995, three inebriated students discovered her body. Despite police suspicions, however, the youngsters were never charged. DS Karen Pirie is still keen to find out what happened that terrible night nearly 25 years later. Is it possible that the men know more than they have already revealed? When Karen discovers weaknesses in the earlier investigation, she finds herself at odds with the police who led the original hunt for the killer.
