Overview
Invader Zim is an animated television series created by Jhonen Vasquez. The show premiered on Nickelodeon on March 30, 2001. The series calls for a extraterrestrial Zim who originates out of a planet named Irk, and his continuing mission to conquer and conquer Earth. His various efforts to subjugate and destroy the human race have been always undermined by some combination of his own ineptitude, his malfunctioning robot slave GIR, and also a young paranormal investigator named Dib, one of their very few people attentive enough to become mindful of Zim's identity. After the first season, the show's ratings started to decline, although invader Zim was targeted at kids in their early teens, and met critical acclaim. Before the 2nd season had been completed, Nickelodeon cancelled the show, leaving also a planned television picture series finale unfinished and at least episodes. The show has maintained a cult following since the series' cancellation episodes, using a pilot, and about 1 episodes which have been around the time in production. On television, all episodes have aired on August 19, 2006. Nineteen of those episodes are broken up to two separate stories, each about twelve minutes. There are eight double-length episodes. All of the episodes were led by Steve Ressel .
