Overview
Frontier is an Western anthology series which aired on NBC from September 1955, to September 1956. The series focuses on the hazards of this payoff of the American West and de-emphasizes gun-play. It was only the next anthology Western series in history, was preceded by Death Valley Times. Frontier aired premiered on September 25, 1955, also ran sporadically in its last five weeks.
