In the 1850s, Captain Charles Boone moves his family of three children to his genealogical home in the little, relatively sleepy town of Preacher's Corners, Maine after his other half passes away mixed-up. Charles will certainly quickly need to face the secrets of his family's slovenly background, and also fight to end the darkness that has afflicted the Boones for generations.
