Carnivàle is an American television series Placed during the Great Depression and Dust Bowl in the United States. In tracing the lifestyles of 2 groups of people, its story depicts the struggle between fate and free will and the struggle between good and evil. The narrative mixes gnosticism and Masonic lore, specially that of the Knights Templar and Christian theology.
