Overview

Borgen is a drama show about the struggle for political authority -- and in regards to the personal sacrifices and consequences that's for people involved on and supporting the stage. The principal figure is the 40-year old political leader Birgitte Nyborg, who through her idealism and huge effort secures her party a landslide victory and thus faces the biggest challenge of her lifehow effectively to make use of the newly won chairs, and also how much she is prepared to go in order to gain as much influence as you can. Birgitte contributes a happy family together with two children and her partner. She is a lady with a burning devotion, a heart that is huge and little moment. Will never be able to be described as a professional and successful top fighter and stay loyal to himself?
