Even a"contemporary prequel" into the 1960 film Psycho, depicting the life span of Norman Bates and his mother Norma just before the events depicted in Hitchcock's picture, albeit at a unique fictional town and also at today's surroundings. The show begins after the death of Norma's husband, even if she purchases a motel located in a coastal Oregon town so Norman and that she may take up a new lifetime.
