Xie Xiang dresses up as a man so she can go to military school. There, she and her classmates get involved in a series of story-worthy events. Xie heads to China's northeast to take on Japanese forces that have gathered under the leadership of a recently re-elected Chamber of Commerce president. As plots and traps are set up against her, Xie will have to prove her bravery in battle at last.
