Overview
The narrative takes place just before the India-Pakistan partition in one of the oldest mental asylums in undivided India. It had been home to both Sikh, Muslim and Hindu patients who were left behind by their uncaring families. Friendships have been thick between the patients who had no body but each other for the company. Each needed a narrative that made for an interesting tale but none like Bishan Singh.
