Tiger Claws II (1996)
Overview
Tiger Claws II came out five years after the first movie. In it, Yeung's martial arts serial killer, Chong, is busted out of jail by a team of toughs working for gangster Dai Lo Fu and taken across the country to San Francisco's Chinatown. When New York City cop Tarek Richards hears that Chong's signature method of killing has been used in a number of recent murders—a claw-like mark across the face of the victim—he calls his old partner Linda Masterson, who now lives in Los Angeles, for help. But as it turns out, Chong has nothing to do with the murders. He's just being used by crime boss Lo Fu, who needs to combine his energy with Chong's to open some kind of time portal and send important supplies to the Shaolin monks from the past. In reality, though, Lo Fu wants to use the portal to sneak heavy modern weapons back to the Qing Dynasty and take control of China himself.
