Overview
Fred C. Dobbs and Bob Curtin, both down in his luck in Tampico, Mexico at 1925, match a grizzled prospector named Howard and then opt to join with him in search of gold from the wilds of central Mexico. Through enormous difficulties, they triumph to find gold, but bandits, the elements, & especially greed sabotage to turn their success.
