Place in the late 1950s, the story follows four Brooklyn teenagers. Girls are chased by the Lords, steal cars, hang out at a local malt shop and play pool. The film focuses on Chico (King) attempting to triumph Jane (Susan Blakely), a woman who wants little to do with himand Stanley (Stallone), that impregnates his girl friend Frannie, who would like him to marry her.
